In order to address Nepal’s need for stability and the Nepalese people’s denmand for quality education and employment.USAID/Nepal has designed the Education for Income Generation and conflict Mitigation in Nepal Program. The program will be targeted towards disadvantaged (dalits, ethnics minorities (Janajatis) and women ) and conflict affected youths (who have been victims of either party to the conflict , and or who have been internally displaced )aged 16-30 (although the scholarships component may target younger children as well), in the most intensely conflict –affected region of Nepal, the mid west .
